when at sea

Another one of my poems from a photo blog I’m following it. 🙂

photos from a JUANderer

when at sea

The sight of land is far from my periphery
but I fear not for your arms held me.
Although the storm threatens to engulf us both,
my heart is happy. It does not loathe.
For how many souls have found their mate
before they face those pearly white gates?
